When a basement floods at 2am or a kitchen fire forces a family out of their home, our crews are the first people they see. 999 Restoration is growing across Ontario, with new territories opening across Canada and the US, and we are hiring people who take pride in doing the job properly.
We cover your IICRC training and keep your certifications current, so your skills grow with every job.
Floods, fires, freeze-ups and storms happen in every season. Restoration is steady work, not seasonal.
Emergency work is paid fairly, with a rotating on-call schedule so nobody carries it alone.
Fully stocked vans, industrial drying equipment, thermal imaging and proper PPE on every job.
As we open new locations, technicians become crew leads, crew leads become project managers, and project managers help launch new territories.
Positions may be with 999 Restoration or an independently owned 999 Restoration location.
Full-time | Multiple locations
You are first on site after a flood. You stop the damage, dry the structure properly, and leave the homeowner confident their home is in good hands.
What you will do
- Respond to emergency water losses, including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotating on-call schedule
- Extract standing water, remove affected materials and set up drying equipment
- Take daily moisture readings and document every visit with photos and drying logs
- Explain next steps to homeowners in plain language and treat every home with respect
- Keep your van, equipment and inventory clean and job-ready
What you need
- Valid G driver's licence and a clean driving record
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in basements, crawlspaces and attics
- Able to wear PPE, including respirators
- Comfortable using a smartphone app for job documentation
- Reliable, on time, and calm under pressure
Assets
- IICRC WRT or ASD certification (no certification yet? We will train you)
- Experience in restoration, cleaning, construction or a skilled trade
- WHMIS and Working at Heights training

Full-time | Multiple locations
You handle the jobs that need extra care: smoke-damaged homes, mould-affected basements and the contents families cannot replace.
What you will do
- Board up and secure fire-damaged properties
- Remove soot and smoke residue, clean contents and treat odour
- Build containment, run negative air and HEPA filtration, and remove mould-affected materials to industry protocol
- Pack out, inventory and clean contents
- Support asbestos abatement work where certified
- Follow site safety procedures and document every step
What you need
- 1+ year of experience in restoration, remediation or construction
- Valid G driver's licence and a clean driving record
- Able to pass a respirator fit test and work in full PPE
- WHMIS training

- IICRC FSRT or AMRT certification
- Asbestos Abatement Worker certificate (253W)
- Working at Heights training

Full-time | Multiple locations
No experience needed. You work alongside our technicians on water, fire and mould jobs, doing the physical work that gets a property ready to dry and rebuild.
What you will do
- Remove wet drywall, insulation, flooring and baseboards under a technician's direction
- Carry and set up fans, dehumidifiers and air scrubbers
- Build containment with poly sheeting and tape
- Haul debris, load bins and keep job sites clean and safe
- Help pack, move and protect contents
- Join the on-call rotation for emergency jobs
What you need
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet all day
- Comfortable working in basements, crawlspaces, dust and wet conditions
- Able to wear PPE, including respirators
- Reliable, on time and willing to learn
Assets
- Valid G driver's licence
- Experience in demolition, construction, moving or cleaning
- WHMIS training

You help our trades put homes back together once the damage is cleared, from drywall and flooring to the final clean before the keys go back.
What you will do
- Support carpenters and drywallers with framing, hanging, taping and sanding
- Prep and protect work areas, and move materials on and off site
- Help install flooring, baseboards, trim and doors
- Prime and paint
- Do the final cleanup before the home is handed back
- Keep tools and materials organized
What you need
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work safely on ladders
- Basic hand and power tool skills
- Your own CSA-approved safety boots
- Reliable, on time and careful in people's homes
Assets
- Construction or renovation experience
- Valid G driver's licence
- WHMIS and Working at Heights training
