Why It Matters

Replacing is expensive. Restoring is usually better.

After a fire or flood, the instinct is to write everything off. In practice a large share of contents can be restored for a fraction of replacement cost, which matters because contents coverage is a limited pool, and every item restored rather than replaced leaves more of that pool for the things that genuinely can’t be saved.

It also matters for the things that aren’t replaceable at all. Photographs, documents, artwork, instruments and heirlooms respond to specialist treatment far more often than people expect, including items that look ruined.

Common Questions

About contents and pack-out

Everything is barcoded and photographed at pack-out, tracked through the facility, and reconciled against the same inventory on return. You get a copy of the inventory, and you can request status on any item at any time.

More often than you'd think. Freeze-drying stops further deterioration and then removes moisture by sublimation, which avoids the ink running and pages fusing that ordinary air-drying causes. Recovery isn't always complete, but it's frequently far better than the item looks when we collect it.

Anything porous that absorbed contaminated water: mattresses, upholstered furniture and pillows soaked in Category 3 water. Food, medication and cosmetics exposed to smoke or contamination. Items where restoration would cost more than replacement. We tell you which is which and document non-salvageables for your claim.

Yes, typically. Which is the point. Restoring an item usually costs a fraction of replacing it, so restoration stretches a limited coverage pool considerably further.

Damage doesn't wait. Neither do we.

Every hour water sits, the repair gets bigger and the claim gets harder. Call now and a restoration manager will be on the line in seconds.
